Tried Kartuli, a cute Georgian spot in Dulwich. Went for lunch with family and really enjoyed the warm, welcoming service - it’s family-owned and you can feel the care in the place. We ordered a wide selection of dishes, and the standouts were definitely the Meat Khinkali and the Khachapuri. Trust me, you’ve got to try these two - absolutely delicious. Desserts were a bit average in comparison, so wouldn’t go out of your way for those. Reasonably priced overall, so would recommend dropping in if you’re in the area.

A reasonably nice experience here. I mixed spread platter was ok. I would have liked a bit more moisture in the spreads. More oil perhaps to loosen. The beef stew was described as fall-off-the bone beef but I didn't find my stew to be particularly tender. It may have been the cut of beef they used -- perhaps a super lean cut that lacks intramuscular fat? The service was beyond kind. The server was helpful, attentive and cordial. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with nice tables, serving ware, decorations and general feel

Our second celebratory visit and just as delicious and friendly as the first time. A lovely environment, beautifully fitted out, exceptional service and expert guidance around the unfamiliar, exciting menu and wine list. Surprisingly good for vegetarians. Good value for this high end cuisine. Whole heartedly recommended.

Lovely dinner at Kartuli last night. As others also commented the interior is lovely with the original tiles with thistle patterns and all the lush plants in the shopwindow. The wine menu is extensive including amber and fortified wines. The food menu is interesting with a variety of meat and vegetarian options. The service staff are attentive and softly spoken. Very nice experience.

Popped in for a late lunch and first try of Georgian food. We had the starter platter and Acharuli Khachpuri and the Meat Khinkali. The staff were lovely and friendly and explained how to eat the meat dumplings. The food was amazing and we left stuffed and couldnt even fit in dessert. The decour is cosy and warm and very unique. We will ne bavk to tackle dessert next time.

We had our first taste of Georgian food and it will not be our last. The dishes were delicious, especially the mixed starter platter which let us taste six different small dishes, all were good, it is difficult to choose on over another. I enjoyed my main dish of Soko's Kaurma which is a traditional; dish originally made with liver but remodelled here as a mixed mushroom dish. The spices were delicate but definite. Georgia is fanmous for its red wines and my glass a tanniny Napareuli did not disappoint, in fact as they sell many of their wines to take away I came home with a bottle. The staff were knowledgable, friendly and efficient

Amazing interior but sadly food was nothing to remember. Sharing starter platter is £26 which is not a little and what you get is a mini cheesy flatbread (Khachapuri) and selection of spreads which were quite flavourless and mostly veggie so doesn’t justify the price. The main dish their famous dumplings - love the presentation however not much filling and the meat filling itself was quite bland and I didn’t really want to have more than one. The chicken with pomegranate was quite dry, saved by the plum sauce. With a bottle of wine the bill came to £127 which I think is very overpriced for what it was.

Finally tried this place on Friday. We didn't have a reservation and walked into a full buzzing restaurant. They were so accommodating and managed to give us a table! We got the Acharuli Khachapuri - the famous boat shaped bread - and my god was it delicious. Like a fondue where you tear the bread off and dip it! I also got this pear lemonade which was very interesting. For main I got the Chicken Mvstadi and my boyfriend got the Kalmakhi (trout). Both were sooo good, we will definitely be coming back here! The decor inside is exquisite and the waitress was excellent.
